Rusutsu, Part 4

After we came down from the top of the ski hill, I talked my friends into going on this ride. I’d never seen anything like it before.

スーキ場から戻ったの後に私はこの乗り物がしたことないから、して見たかった！

After that, A, A and T went on this roller coaster.

最後にAとAとTはこの乗り物を乗った。

Lunch time!

昼食の時！

Before we left, we had to ride the tiny carousel. But it was tiny!

小さい回転木馬を乗った。とても小さかった。

Of course, we had to try out the purikura booth.

もちろん、プリクラした。

Do you think potato drinks would be delicious?

芋の飲物は美味しい？

On the way home we stopped and had to stick our heads in and grab a picture.

帰る中にこの写真を撮った。

It was a fun weekend! Why do weekends always go by so fast?

とても楽しかった週末！でも、なぜ週末いつも速い？

Summer Adventures: Wakkanai

We did a bit of shopping and then decided we wanted to have lunch.

買い物の後に昼ご飯を食べたことを決まった。

When C and L heard that I’d never eaten at Mos Burger, it was decided that was where we’d go.

CとLは私はモスバーガーを食べたことないと聞いたに行った。

I had a rice burger. It was delicious.

ライスバーガーを食べた。美味しかった。

We started the day’s adventures with a trip to Shimamura.

最初にしまむらへ行った。

I bought a new dress and had to sent a photo to my sister.

新しいドレスを買った。妹にこの写真へ送った。

After that, we headed to Cape Soya – the most northern point in all of Japan.

宗谷岬へ行った。最北の所ね！

When we came back, we headed into town for the festival.

帰るの後に祭りへ行った。

These boys were SO not into dancing.

この中学生は踊りが好きじゃないらしい。

The basketball girls put them to shame.

We finished the day with purikura.

Golden Week Day 10

We ventured to the Tokyo Metropolitan Photography Museum.

東京都写真美術館へ行った。

They had some cool exhibits. I just wish I could have snapped a few pictures.

たくさんいい写真があったけど、写真撮ることはだめ。

This was the view from the top of a nearby building.

隣の建物からこの眺めが見えた。

After that, Mandie and I got dressed up for dinner.

晩ご飯のため、私たちドレスを着た。

Here’s where we ate. Unfortunately, I forgot my tripod.

ここで食べたけど、トリポッドが忘れちゃった。

After dinner, it was time for purikura.

次はプリクラ。

When we got back near our hotel, we decided to stop in at this cute little Korean Café for dessert.

ホテルの近いへ戻ったにこのかわいい韓国カフェにデザトーを食べた。

What we had for dessert. Yum!

Golden Week Day 4

We started the day by making a new friend in the hostel and wandering around Asakusa. 

朝に新しい友達を始めて浅草に歩いた。

Sensoji temple was our first stop, in the daylight. 

浅草寺へ行った。

For lunch, we decided to try one of the interesting ramen shops in Asakusa.  

昼ご飯は面白いラーメンを食べた。

We ate the Szechwan Black Sesame Ramen.

Lunch! It was spicy, but delicious. 

辛くて美味しかった！

The three of us. This was Oskar's first time using chopsticks, but he did it. 

3人友達。Oは橋が始めたけど、できた。 

These two made our delicious lunch.

We stayed in the capsule hotel that night. 

カプセルホテルに泊まった。

We went for Okonomiyaki for dinner. 

晩ご飯にお好み焼きレストランへ行った。

When we walked in the door, the owners freaked out because they couldn't speak any English. 

店員は私たち見たにパニックした。何回も「英語を話せない」と言った。

Mandie and Oskar loved it!
